This red box is steel-line roller door control unit, the original remote is obsolete.

What should we do? 

Get a DIY kit. That's easy! You can locate a gray box in the wall control unit, unplug the gray box from the control board then plug new receiver into the board. That's it.

Two remotes have been pre-programmed. That's a plug and play installation.
