Sprocket assembly 9T is an universal spare part for garage door openers Boss, Steel-line, Guardian 21230L and Door-Mate. It is placed right in the center of the drive unit (i.e. motor). 
This assembly includes a sprocket, a shaft and white helical cog. The cog is connected to the shaft via two pins which goes through the shaft.
Drive shaft unit is with a 9 teeth sprocket gear that will transmit 25% more torsion than an assembly with 12 teeth. Usually using 9T for heavy sectional door or jamb fiiting tilt door.
